The First Sabre's Preseason Game!

On Sunday the Fifteenth the Buffalo Sabres had their very first preseason game. It was not televised but it was aired on the radio. The Sabres played the Montreal Canadiens. The game went into a shootout and the Sabres won the game 5-4. The game was won by a shootout goal by Grigorenko. The Sabre's big players were not being put on the ice like Thomas Vanek, Cody Hodgson, or Ryan Miller. Jhonas Enroth was in net, and he let in a few goals that he shouldn't have, but he did alright for the first game. The team played pretty well for it being the first game. The Sabres game tickets for the preseason go as cheap as 6 dollars. In my eyes that’s a pretty good deal for someone who loves hockey, but they don’t love paying for the tickets. The sabres “farm” team is who played on Sunday night. They did pretty well for the team, but we won’t know how the team will be for the regular season because none of the main players were on the ice. I have a feeling that the team this year will be pretty solid. We might make the playoffs, but who knows what could happen. Maybe a few of the players could get married and lose their skills. For anyone who didn’t know that was a shot at Ryan Miller. Basically this is the start of the beginning of the Buffalo Sabres season. The first televised preseason game is going to be on Wednesday, September 25th. All the Sabres fans out there should be pretty excited for this day to come! I know that I’m excited. The Sabres games are always amazing to watch and they are full of energy and that about sums it up. The Sabres need to step their game up this year so they can finally bring home a cup.
