The Buffalo Sabres

Here we are. Hockey season is under way! For this blog I'm going to focus on only the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres are my favorite team because I am a Buffalo resident. They may not be the best team, but they are still the team I cheer for. I'm pretty disappointed of the team so far. We are 0 and 3. That's no too good. We are one of the lowest ranked teams currently. We have no points at all. We are the lowest team in our division. The only other team that is 0 and 3 is the Philadelphia Flyers. The next game we play is tomorrow (Tuesday the 8th) at 7:30. We need to win this game. The first three games we played were not too good for us, but it's time for a comeback I hope! The first game we played was against the Detroit Red Wings and that game was pretty good. Detroit won 2-1. Detroit led the game with their two goals in the first period. The next game we played was against the Ottawa Senators. This game resulted in a loss as well. The big part of this game was that Ryan Miller led the team. He made a total of 45 saves and he only let one goal in. It was a big disappointment for the team. They let 46 shot on goal pass them. That’s not too good for a defense in my opinion. The third game we played was against the Pittsburgh Penguins. This game resulted in a 4-1 loss. The Buffalo Sabres are heading in the wrong direction if you ask me. They need to get their heads in the game. They shouldn’t be giving up all the chances that they are giving up. It’s not good. They relied on Miller for the game against the Senators. That’s not good team work. I love the Sabres, but still they need to get their stuff together and play better.
